Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)Listenelement 3Machining mechanics usually manufacture precision components from metal using machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling or grinding. They usually work with CNC-controlled machine tools or production systems. They set them up and monitor machining processes. Cutting machine operator is a 3.5-year recognized apprenticeship.

You monitor and optimize production processes and take on repair and maintenance tasks. Industrial mechanic is a 3.5-year recognized apprenticeship.

IT specialist - system integration (m/f/d)IT specialists specializing in system integration implement customer-specific information and communication solutions. To do this, they network hardware and software components into complex systems. IT specialist in the field of system integration is a 3-year recognized apprenticeship.

We offer study places at the DHBW on the campus in Horb.
Start of studies: October 1st
Degree: mechanical engineering
Field of study: production engineering
Duration of study: 3 years (theory & practice alternating every three months)
Degree: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with 210 ECTS points
The production technology major in mechanical engineering deals with organizing and coordinating processes, building sequences on top of one another and thereby further developing and applying the technology. In the 3rd year of study, the specializations "Digitalization in Production" and "Industrial Manufacturing" can be chosen.
